You'd think with all of Lego's Profits these days they could afford better Hardware, Software and Programmers to prevent the usual technical difficulties almost every time they have major promotions

Before the whole site went down, the sales & deals page had I think 16 items, which was down from 27 as of earlier today. Might be a long night...

Oop, back online for a minute. Sales still not showing up initially but as Tadpole mentioned, add to cart and the sale prices are there. Sweet!

Got the 2 sets that I wanted!

Wow, only took 30 mins this time to place my orders. Initially got charged shipping and no Gingerbread House. Then 5 mins later in the order status all resolved on my orders. The Ghost at 20% off!! Pirates Chess, some friends sets and other nick nacks for the kids. Pretty happy with this sale.

Better give my wife breakfast in bed tomorrow before she checks our Credit Card statement...

WOW! Both the Unikitty Dimensions pack and Braniac attack have red lettered "Sold Out" signs. Both of them are relatively new. How does that happen?

The Lego Movie Melting Room 70801 is only $6.48, but that sale price only shows up when it's in your cart...I'm glad I found a hidden sale!

Sometimes it pays to arrive late--wound up with a bunch of sets I hadn't thought I could afford and a second Gingerbread house. Took me no time flat to breeze through checkout and there wasn't a glitch anywhere...and now I have all the Chima minifigures I wanted, and some Ninjago ones I'd pretty much given up on! Bring on December 1!

What an utter disgrace regarding the 5% off and only a handful of reductions. I purchased the ferris wheel because at the time of writing it's about the only thing more expensive on amazon. Got another gingerbread house though. So I can build one and keep one boxed.

The UK 'deals' are a joke !

I tried on PC - no way. Android - the same. Finally managed to order on iPhone (Safari) when on the bus. Two separate orders, Sydney Opera plus Temple of Airjitzu. 2 Gingerbread Houses, and one is already in my house ;)

No extra goodies in-store like scratch cards or pick-a-brick Santa in a cup

Success at 3 a.m. EST! Bought the Toy Shop and gained a Gingerbread House :-) Then I went to bed. lol.

I must say though, the selection of sale items is limited. If you are a Dimensions fan, now is the time to shop, but not that many other items on sale. The Pirates Chess Set is a very good deal (price/piece). Waxing cynical, I'd say retailers are just using Black Friday to move inventory they have difficulty selling. But LEGO does have some nice deals, alas just a few. Free shipping on any size online order, so if one is on a tight budget, take advantage of it :-)

Went to the LEGO store; turns out the had several sets on sale that are not in the posted list.
I got The Ghost set $53.99. The AT-AT was also on sale, but there was one left and somebody beat me to it.

AT-AT was on sale for 40% off at my store (so was the Ghost, but I got that at Wal-Mart's $25 price/ad mishap last year). I got 1 of 2 on the shelf, then shopped around, then... went to check out and they said the prices just changed at 10AM. It was 10:02. The price changed to 20% off. Was bummed. Thanks for the online Melting Room price. Got that online and some other stuff at the store to get the calendar.

I made an order this morning around 4:30am with no issues. Picked up the F40 and the Water Plane chase. Also went to my local Lego store as they received more of the Santa's Visit seasonal set today. When I picked them up they were sold out already. I showed the clerk my receipt from my online order earlier that day and he threw in the wall calendar. Bonus!

before you complain too much, on the Aussie site, there is the free ginger bread house for orders over $120 AUD, the only discount set is 60044 Mobile police base, and no free shipping. Australia, as usual, left right out.

Are the "Cyber Monday" sales only online or also in-store?

I live in poor country called Latvia. There is not shipping, no official store. I am huge lego fan, but I forced to pay double price to get lego set.

@miamijoe - Went to the LEGO store today to pick up some bricks and they had the Pirates sets on sale with Monday's online prices. Grabbed The Brick Bounty ($79.99) and Treasure Island ($15.99)... and a third Gingerbread house :)
